How we use cookies.
This page explains every cookie and browser-storage key Jaws Co., Ltd. sets on your device, why we set it, and how to turn it on or off. Jaws is the data controller for the information on this site.
Cookies are small files a site asks your browser to store so it can recognise you on the next page or the next visit. Modern sites also use localStorage and sessionStorage for the same purpose — we treat those as cookies for this policy since the privacy implications are identical.
Some cookies are strictly necessary: without them, signing in or switching language would not work. Others are optional — they make the site more convenient or help us measure how it performs. You choose which optional categories are enabled; we will never set the optional categories before you consent.
Here's the complete inventory. If you spot a cookie we set that is not listed here, please tell us — it means something slipped past our audit and we'll fix it.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Storage | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Essential | Keeps you logged in when you sign in to the client dashboard or admin. Without it, every page reload would force you to sign in again. Set only after you sign in. | cookie | Session, or up to 30 days if “remember this device” is ticked | Supabase |
| jaws-cookie-consent | Essential | Records your cookie preferences so this banner only shows once. Also stores the granular on/off state for each non-essential category. | localStorage | Until you clear your browser storage or reset preferences | Jaws Co., Ltd. |
| jaws-language | Preferences | Remembers the language you picked from the language switcher so the whole site loads in that language on your next visit. | localStorage | 1 year | Jaws Co., Ltd. |
| jaws-theme | Preferences | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme from the navbar toggle. | localStorage | 1 year | Jaws Co., Ltd. |
| _vercel_insights, _vercel_speed | Analytics | Anonymous page-view counts and page-load performance metrics so we know which pages load slowly and can fix them. No personal data, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers. | cookie | 24 hours | Vercel |
You can change these at any time. Changes apply immediately — there's no 'save' button. Turning a category off does not delete cookies already on your device; use your browser's site-settings to do that, or use the 'Clear choice & re-ask' button below.
